Today was day 11 and emotions ran high as our earthen dome neared completion. After breakfast, we eagerly got to work, motivated to finish strong. We accomplished 6 whole layers, seeing the structure really close in. I’m so proud of our progress!
It’s bittersweet that only 2 days remain of this life-changing course. While I can’t wait to witness the final ceiling process, I’ll deeply miss everyone when it’s over. We’ve bonded like a family.

After dinner, us girls planned a night out at a local tea shop. In the end, our whole crew came along, laughing into the night over tea and snacks. On the walk home, Stuti accidentally dropped her phone into the composting toilet! We stopped her from going after it. Suman da helped fish it out with a tool — luckily no one had to dive in!
The emotional highlight was dear Parvati di, who cooks our lunch, coming to say farewell before leaving for a wedding. We shed tears, hugging her tight. For two weeks she’s nurtured us like a mother. I’ll cherish her last meals with us these final days.
Bittersweet and beautiful, this experience has woven lasting connections, with humans and the natural world alike. Only a little left to raise the earthy haven we manifested from soil and spirit.
