“Harmony Unveiled: The Multipurpose Building and Park at Dhadako Chaur, Pokhara Metropolitan City”

In the heart of Ward No. 33 in Kaski, a magnificent transformation is taking place that embodies the essence of Pokhara’s stone architecture. The Multipurpose Building and Park at Dhadako Chaur, crafted under the guidance of the Pokhara Metropolitan City Office, is a testament to the fusion of tradition and modernity, fostering community spirit, reverence, and recreation.

Design Inspired by Stone Architecture:

Taking inspiration from the intricate stone architecture that defines Pokhara, the buildings in this project are a stunning display of craftsmanship. Carved windows, intricate detailing, and the use of natural materials pay homage to the rich heritage of the region while creating a sense of timelessness.

A Space for All:

This multipurpose complex is more than just a building; it’s a community hub that caters to the diverse needs of the people. Within its premises, you’ll find a public shade hut offering respite from the sun, a serene temple for spiritual reflection, a hawan kunda for puja ceremonies, a kriya thalo for cultural rituals, and even a picnic spot for families and friends to gather and celebrate.

A Sanctuary of Greenery:

Nature plays a significant role in this project. The central part of the site has been preserved as is, allowing it to retain its natural beauty. In addition, the park’s design calls for an abundance of plants and trees to be carefully integrated into the landscape, enhancing the surroundings with lush greenery and creating a harmonious blend of nature and architecture.

Community Engagement and Recreation:

The Multipurpose Building and Park at Dhadako Chaur aims to bring people together. It provides a space for cultural events, community gatherings, and recreational activities. From picnics under the shade of ancient trees to spiritual gatherings in the temple, this project is a symbol of community unity and cultural preservation.

A Vision of Pokhara’s Future:

As the stone architecture of Pokhara stands as a testament to its rich history, this project embodies the city’s aspirations for the future. It’s a place where the past meets the present, where tradition and innovation coexist harmoniously.
